Public Transit Meeting Calendar
There are a lot of opportunities to get involved in Sacramento's Public Transit planning. The calendar below contains the regularly scheduled meetings of SacRT, SACOG, and STA. Additional details on the public transit agencies available below. Note: SacTRU is not responsible for changes to meeting dates, please check agency website for more details.
ParaTransit Incorporated
This body meets to discuss various ADA and non-ADA service throughout the service area they cover, which is mainly where SacRT has both bus and light rail service. The following 2019 dates are their remaining meeting schedule, of which all meetings begin at 6pm in the Ron Brown Conference Room inside ParaTransit Incorporated located at 2501 Florin Road, at Woodbine in South Sacramento:

Meetings are accessible vía SacRT Route 81. This Route travels to Florin and Riverside in the Pocket/Greenhaven area from both the 65th Street Station (Gold Line) and the Florin Station (Blue Line) everyday.
Elk Grove City Council
Normally, this would not be listed, but with the potential contract with SacRT, and possible annexation into SacRT, it is important that folks that are around attend the 6pm Elk Grove City Council Meeting on Wednesday 13 March 2019. This can be history in the making. The matter is Item 10.1 on the City Council Agenda.
The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) has a Board of Directors that generally meets at 9am on the Third Thursday of every month, as well as various committees, like the Transportation Committee and the Transit Coordinating Committee. The Transportation Committee is a Board Committee that generally meets the first Thursday of the month, while the Transit Coordinating Committee meets sporadically. Their next meeting occurs at 9am on Wednesday, April 17th. All meetings occur in either the SACOG Board Room, or the SACOG “Rivers Room” located adjacent to the Board Room.
The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) is an association of local governments in the six-county Sacramento region. Its members include the counties of El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, Yuba and the 22 cities within.
SACOG provides transportation planning and funding for the region, and serves as a forum for the study and resolution of regional issues. In addition to preparing the region’s long-range transportation plan, SACOG approves the distribution of affordable housing in the region and assists in planning for transit, bicycle networks, clean air and airport land uses.

Mobility Advisory Council
The MAC is a Committee of SacRT. This group generally meets the first Thursday of the month from 2:30pm to 4:30pm in the SacRT Auditorium.
Y.C.T.D. (YoloBus)
The Yolo County Transportation District, (YoloBus) located at 350 Industrial Way, meets at 7pm the second Monday of each month in Woodland, California. They currently operate four regular bus routes (40, 41, 42A/42B, and 240) into and out of Downtown Sacramento with various connections with the Sacramento Regional Transit District. They are now going through a comprehensive operational analysis that is somewhat similar to the recently adopted “SacRT Forward” project. Should folks want to attend meetings of this board, their next 7pm meeting is March 11th, April 8th, and May 13th.
In addition to the above information, two other services provide their products into Sacramento by way of intercity rail service - the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority and the San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority. Both have governing bodies that make decisions that impact transportation in Sacramento and the surrounding area. The next Board Meeting will be the San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority at 10:30am on March 22nd in Stockton.
