Stopping the Layoffs

In June 2016, RT faced a budget imbalance and proposed several solutions to the problem. One solution suggested layoffs for staff. Members of the community came out to oppose the layoffs, fare increases, and service cuts that were proposed as a result of the budget imbalance. They asked that there be no action taken against workers until an independent forensic audit occurred.
